Héli, l’enfant cerf-volant (Héli the kite child)

Following a helium leak in the apartment where they live, a couple of clowns, world champions in assembling balloon bouquets, give birth to a floating child: Heli. His secret will be greedily guarded by his parents until the day when an unfortunate event will send him flying to the four winds, to meet his own legend.

The story of Héli the kite kid unfolds like an investigation by confronting the real and fantasized memories of the two protagonists/storytellers. By going back over time and their memory, they will try to determine the veracity of the story behind the legend.

Combining storytelling, digital projection and puppets, Héli the kite child is imbued with poetry and humor with just the right amount of absurdity. A bountiful show that questions our relationship to memory and truth in the digital age and fake news.

Vox Théâtre and Le Théâtre de la Vieille 17 invite spectators to take one or more books with them when they come to La Nouvelle Scène for the show of Héli, the kite child.
