Nine-year-old Felix has an encyclopedic knowledge of the animal kingdom and nature, and he is deeply concerned about the fate of the planet. At school and at home, his questions, logic, and arguments challenge the established order and, more often than not, confuse or exasperate the adults around him. One day, his teacher introduces a new "pet."
A White's tree frog from Australia, trapped in an aquarium! That's the last straw! Felix and his best friend Oli have no choice. They must take action! Emma Haché brings Carla Gunn's delightful eco-friendly novel Amphibian, translated by Myriam Legault, to the stage. This new theatrical creation for all ages, aimed at young and adult audiences alike, offers a unique and original narrative voice on the issue of animal rights and activism.
A show intended for adults but accessible to children aged 10 and over.
