The state of the world weighs heavily on Jeanne and Olivier's shoulders. She vandalizes advertisements. He dreams of his generation being burned like marshmallows. Then a school election is organized; both driven by the hope that they can change things, they decide to face off in a campaign punctuated by fiery speeches, ninja expeditions, and unicorn ost*e.

Both a hallucinatory political satire and an X-ray of our collective anxieties, Le poids des fourmis juggles questions of citizen resistance and abuse of power.
